Another Christmas has come and gone and can I say Hallelujah!!!!!! Can I say it??? Should I say it??? Don't hold it against me!! Christmas is not my favorite time of year. It's not like I hate it but I don't love it. It's just a very busy, crazy time of year. I do love to see family and friends but could do without all the running around and crowds and shopping for that perfect gift that you can't find. So with much anticipation I say, bring on SPRING!!!!
Christmas day sledding. My dad gets out his tractor and pulls all the kids on a wooden sleigh that he made. The kids loved it and I think my dad loved it more. -Great memories
Kayla with all hers dolls. Santa brought two big boxes of "polly pockets"( he found them on ebay for a good price) She loves the"little mermaid" and so she got areil dolls, books and jewelry. She is at such a fun age and loved opening all her gifts.

With much hesitation Santa brought the boys air soft guns. After their friends in the neighborhood got them, it's all they have been talking about. We made sure to tell the boys that if they didn't follow the rules with them that Santa told us to take them away!. Oh the things Santa does to make kids happy!

Santa brought the Wii this year to Kaden and Cole and they have had so much fun with it.

If I must say so myself, Kayla got everything she wanted and MORE for christmas!! Being the only girl she is very spoiled and being the mother of a little girl I can't blame it all on her. I just can't pass up all the cute dolls, barbies, clothes, jewelry, little tea sets, dress up clothes......... it's just so fun.
The calm after the storm.Don't ya just love the mess after all the gifts are opened! Christmas was fun this year, although chaotic very fun to spend time with family and friends and enjoy the season.

So this was the year I told myself I was "splurging" to buy cute christmas stockings for our family. I have had cheap dollar store stockings since we got married, so this was the year I was on the lookout for "cute" ones. I had my eye on some in Pottery Barn magazine until I ran across these at Tai Pan Trading. I just love them. So now I can quit complaing to Chad about our ugly stockings. So silly, but once a girl makes up her mind she wants something-she wants it!!

Kayla is so excited for Christmas. Everytime a toy commercial comes on t.v. she yells,"I want that". Oh how early they learn. I must admit it though, shopping for a girl can get you in TROUBLE!!! All the dolls, play furniture, dress up clothes- I just have to tell myself STOP! already!!Sure is fun though. Hope you all are almost done shopping and if not, have fun shopping in the crowds.
