OUR CALIFORNIA TRIP

This picture right here took four hours of waiting in line! We had to see Ariel Kayla's favorite princess and we waited two hours in line twice to have her leave right before we got in to meet her-So frustrating. So the third day I decided to ask a couple in the front of the line if I could go ahead and get a few pictures of Ariel before she left they agreed and Here is the picture-HURRAY!!!!!!!!! The things we do for our children.

At Universal Studio's

Our trip to California. We went to Sea World for two days, Universal Studio's for one day and then to Disneyland for three days. I must say that I am exhausted after this vacation, but we did have fun.

I figured it out!

I love those, "Bumbles" watch bands. I haven't bought one because I said to myself,"I can make those". So I finally attempted and after many failed attempts I figured out how to make them. So in one day I whipped these out and they aren't perfect but I had fun making them. Don't ya just love it when you figure something out!!!

Polly Pocket Fun!

Have you ever played with 'Polly Pockets"? They are so fun. Kayla spends hours putting teeny, tiny shoes on and off. I must say that I can get caught up in them too! Their clothes are so darn cute and they have purses, hats, shopping bags-it goes on and on. So if you too are looking for a good time-Polly pockets is where it's at. It won't be long til' it's BARBIE time (then I will really have some fun, because I wasn't allowed to have barbie's when I grew up (yes, you can feel sorry for me), so you better believe Kayla will have many, many and then I'll get my play time in then (I'll show my parents!!!! ). My boys or better said,"ME" got an easy bake oven a few years ago because it was the only thing I asked Santa for year after year and never got! By golly if you want something you have to get it for yourself (or for your"children")

I did it! I finally did it!

Kayla is going on three years old and has only had two trims in her life. She has very thin, stringy hair and is very tender headed-so she hates to have her hair combed, not a good combination when it is so stringy and thin. I had tried to have it cut but it just ended up in her screaming and crying. So I woke up one day last week and said,"This is the day". I ran to a friends house and told her to chop it off. I had to hold her but we managed to get it cut. It looks so cute on her. I think I went a touch short but it always grows right! The next couple of days after the cut, we called her our,"new girl" because she looked so different.

It took us about 20 minutes to get Kayla all bundled up to go sledding, and about 15 minutes for her to realize she HATES being cold and would rather be in the cabin. But got this beautiful shot of her so I guess it was worth it.

A cold day of sledding. I only went down the hill twice because climbing back up it is not fun!! Man, am I out of shape! ( I'm thinking I could pass for a man with that black hat on-very unattractive)

Isn't that a beautiful backdrop.
