Wait, Stop, Backup!

Wait, is that my baby boy dancing with a GIRL? Oh No I say to myself, this can't be. Didn't I just change his diaper yesterday? Don't I have to hold his hand and walk him into school? Don't I have to teach him his ABC's? Apparently not. Now I have to worry about girls calling and girls leaving love notes in his desk and dropping him off to dances instead of walking him into kindergarten. I have to worry about the "sex" talks, and growing older and changing voices. Oh, I guess he is growing up. No longer my baby boy but my handsome "tween". Ready, but not really ready for it all. I guess all I can say is, "Let the fun begin" (and no kissing until your at least 25 right?? or maybe 30!

So cute! The girls already feet taller than all the boys came wearing their high heels, makeup, nails done, diamonds in the hair and around the neck. Oh so sute and awkward at the same time.

My handsome baby boy. Shhhh no one tell him I am still calling him my baby boy, I would be in big trouble-It's hard for me to even get a hug now a days. Too cool for all of that!

Hunting in Colorado

Whether they like it or not my boys will be hunters! Good thing they like it. Chad took Kaden to Colorado to go goose hunting and man did they shoot em. They got their limit everyday and couldn't wait for the next day to do it all again.I'm so glad Chad has a hunting buddy!

Baptism Day

So proud that our boy made the decision to be baptized. What a special day. He is so lucky to have so many family and friends to support him.

Snowboarding Dude!

Taking the boys snowboarding for the first time. They each got a two hour lesson and it didn't take long before they were on the lifts snowboarding down. It really does look fun. I may just have to try and learn, except I am sure it will take more than one lesson before I am boarding down the hill. They woke up the next morning very sore, but said it was worth it.

When did this happen???

Ok, it just hit me! I was shopping today for my little girl when I realized I have to start shopping in the "big girl" sizes. I guess 5T is considered older girl and so it is with sadness that I start to make my way over to "big girls" sizes while I wipes away my tears every step of the way. There has been alot of changes recentley and I'm not sure how I feel about them all. My middle boy got baptized last weekend and I can hardly believe it. My oldest boy will soon be passing the sacrament and close to being a TEENAGER. My little girl left nursery and went into sunbeams which left me with that crazy feeling of not having anymore babies in nursery. When did this all happen? Where was I? I swear I didn't see them grow up or I would have pressed the pause button. Slow down time. I realize the older I get the faster time flies and it scares me. For all those times I wanted the seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months to pass by, I take it back, I want those seconds, minutes, hours, days back. I want to press pause on my family and enjoy them more. I want more time to really watch them and enjoy them. I want time to slow down. So, I guess I can't slow down anything but myself. So, here's to a new year of hopefully not wishing one second away-enjoying the here and now and loving it, because I know it is all going way too fast!

PinKaLicIoUs

I got my sweet little girl a book called, Pinkalicious. It is one of the cutest books. This little girl makes pink cupcakes with her mom and eats so many she turns pink. We just had to make pink cupcakes after we read the book. She just loved them and we didn't even turn pink!
